This project have been realized for Beam Me Up Games in Montreal. Mechatronics Art designed the enclosure of the emitter and receiver of BMU’s virtual and augmented reality solution. The inspiration come from the science fiction universe of Star Trek, Tron and Alien, the corporate culture of BMU being directly linked to the science fiction world: BMU virtual and augmented reality solution is described as a real world alternative to the Star Trek’s Holodeck; the company name “Beam me up” also being a direct reference to the Star Trek serie (“Beam me up, Scotty”).
